The Saudi Ministry of Commerce and Industry invites businessmen, economics, academics and researchers to attend the Saudi-French Business Opportunities Forum at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Riyadh on October 12-13, 2015, corresponding to Thul Hijjah 28-29, 1436. The event will bring together senior officials, businessmen and academics from both countries.

The forum will discuss ways to strengthen long-term ties between Saudi Arabia and France and offer investment opportunities in the two countries, as well as organizing workshops and sessions addressing a number of important sectors such as health care, energy efficiency, trade and industry, and sustainable and smart cities.

The event has a series of objectives that it aims to meet, such as creating opportunities for mutual foreign direct investment in major industries and identifying new investment opportunities in the Saudi and French markets.

The forum also aims to act as an enabler for new sustainable trade and industry projects and encourage medium to large companies from both the Saudi and French markets to establish business relationships. It will develop effective recommendations and initiatives to help facilitate strategic business alliances between organizations in the two markets.

Finally, the forum aims to help develop a knowledge-based society.

The first session of the forum was held in the French capital Paris in 2013 and was attended by more than 500 participants including government figures, experts, academics, researchers and businessmen from the two countries.
