In the spirit of the holy month, Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) hosted the Ramadan annual Iftar for its valued staff and their families at the St Regis Hotel. 

Qatar Rail’s gathering came as part of the many Ramadan initiatives launched by the company to celebrate the month of goodness and giving, through promoting interaction and team spirit among all staff members; and thus, positively impacting the work environment.

Qatar Rail seized the opportunity to celebrate the traditional Garangao night with employees from different departments and their kids in a very friendly atmosphere. 

The Iftar, attended by Qatar Rail's Managing Director and chairman of the executive committee, Eng. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Turki Al-Subaie, and Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Rail, Eng. Saad Ahmed Al-Muhannadi, joined the company's team on a delightful banquet and pleasant atmosphere that featured entertaining segments. The ceremony was also marked by the distribution of a variety of valuable prizes to a number of employees showing appreciation to their hard work and daily efforts.

The company has adopted the custom of holding such Iftar yearly during the month of Ramadan, as the occasion constitutes an opportunity for all members to meet outside working hours and exchange views in an enjoying ambience.
