|Wireless Seismic Announces First International RT System 2 Sale to Asian Oilfield Services Limited
Wireless Seismic, Inc. announced today the first international sale of its RT System 2 real-time and cable-less seismic data acquisition system to Asian Oilfield Services, Ltd. (ASIAN). Based in Gurgaon, India, ASIAN will use RT System 2 for 2D and 3D acquisition projects in the rugged terrains of northeastern India starting in November.
“ASIAN works in very challenging terrains throughout Asia,” stated Rahul Talwar, CEO of ASIAN. “We chose RT System 2 as the logical solution in expanding our field equipment inventory because of its minimal footprint, increased efficiency, and safety features.”
“Our team was very impressed by how easy RT System 2 is to use and how quickly we can complete a seismic acquisition, now that the constraints of using cabled systems are eliminated,” added Talwar.
“Obtaining real-time feedback on the quality of seismic data is also very important to us,” continued Talwar. “The QC features of RT System 2 are as good as any cabled system and obviously better than we would get with any of the nodal systems.”
