|Student volunteers help worshippers in Madinah
Taibah University medical students majoring in different branches of medicine enrolled in a voluntary program to provide care to visitor’s of the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. Manal Salem, supervisor of volunteers at the Prophet’s Mosque, said 240 female students are enrolled in the program this year. All volunteers received extensive training on how to deal with visitors and operate medical equipment. Divided in groups of 20, the students cover the entire women’s section of the mosque and treat minor medical problems.
