As 2018 gets off to a start and memories of the festive holidays spent with friends and family almost a distant memory, McDonald’s UAE has announced a campaign to cheer up the nation where jokes become currency and willing comedians get rewarded with a tasty treat.

 

To combat the ‘January blues’ and bring a smile to the nation, McDonald’s UAE is encouraging UAE diners to spread laughter with an iconic joke: why did the chicken cross the road? 

 

Coinciding with the launch of its delicious new limited-time menu item: The Schnitzel, McDonald’s UAE is inviting Dubai residents to grab a free Schnitzel in return for telling their favourite version of the gag.

 

The new Schnitzel is a delicious large succulent 100% boneless whole piece halal chicken breast coated with crispy breading that comes in two flavours: ‘Salt & Pepper’ and ‘Spicy’. The perfect treat anytime and anywhere, it will be available for 9AED A-La-Carte and 17AED for a meal.

 

To celebrate the launch, on one day only on January 16th starting from 11.00am, customers can claim their free schnitzel only at the McDonald’s UAE’s JBR The Walk restaurant, but you’ll need to hurry so you get it before it’s gone! Redemption is easy; all you have to do is walk up to the counter and tell one of the world’s most iconic jokes: why did the chicken cross the road?

On January 16th, a free schnitzel can be redeemed in return for a ‘why did the chicken cross the road’ joke by visiting the McDonald’s UAE JBR restaurant from 11.00am onwards, but only while stocks last.
