UAE Exchange looks for Emirati Talent at Tawdheef Recruitment Fair

In line with the UAE government’s goal of developing and nurturing the national talent, UAE Exchange, a leading global money transfer, foreign exchange and payment solutions brand, is once again attracting talented UAE Nationals in the financial sector at the Tawdheef Recruitment Fair. The event, which is the leading career and Entrepreneurs Event for UAE Nationals, is being held at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre from 29th to 31st January 2018.

Speaking about the brand’s participation in the Recruitment Fair, Abdel Kareem Alkayed, Country Head, UAE Exchange-UAE, said, “We believe that being a brand born in the UAE, developing the Emirati community is one of our prime responsibilities. We have been working aggressively towards this cause for over 37 years now; and each year we make new strides. Last year at the Tawdheef Recruitment Fair, we had employed 50 UAE Nationals to work in various roles across the country, and this year we are hoping that the number is even higher. We are always excited to meet talented Emiratis looking to join the financial sector, who will eventually become a part of the UAE Exchange success story.”

At present, UAE Exchange has over 300 Emirati employees working across the UAE. It is also one of the few brands that offers UAE Nationals with flexible working hours and the options of working from their preferred location. The brand also offers a four-week internship and training programme – Taleem -  for Emirati students looking for real-time work experience.

Speaking about her experience at UAE Exchange, Manal Yousef Obaid Al Zaabi, who works as a Junior Officer – Sales and Services at one of the branches, said, “I was hired by UAE Exchange at last year’s Tawdheef Recruitment Fair; and the experience has been truly rewarding. I have been working here for a year now and in this one year, I have learnt so much about the financial industry that has added immense value to my skill-set and knowledge. What excites me more is the customer interaction as I get to meet new people each day.”

UAE Exchange has been participating in Tawdheef Recruitment Fair for nearly a decade now. The brand has aggressively worked towards the goal of skill development in the Emirati community and received various accolades from the UAE government like the Emiratisation Award by the UAE Minister of Economy in 2016. In 2017, the brand was honoured by the UAE Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation for its Emiratisation efforts, and in the same year also received an award by the Department of Economic Development (DED) of Dubai for having dedicated Arabic Counters – Hayakoum – across its branches in the country.

Named among the top 20 ‘Great Place to Work’ companies in the UAE for two consecutive years, UAE Exchange will be conducting on-the-spot interviews at the Tawdheef Recruitment Fair and hiring suitable Emirati candidates for its operations across the UAE. Visit them at Hall 4 (E01) at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
