Tech Solutions, Data Analytics to Ready Hr Pros for Key Role in Organisational Strategy

Human resources professionals who adopt the latest suites of HR tech solutions will be better able to optimise their role within an organisation, leading to improvements in business productivity and alignment with their corporate strategy.

That is the message being delivered by industry experts in the lead up to this year’s HR Summit & Expo, which takes place from 6-8 November at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

Nihal Rocca, marketing executive from CivilSoft – leaders in innovative tech solutions said, “HR is increasingly becoming a key player in the formulation and execution of organisational strategy, and technology is evolving every day to enable HR leaders to live up to that role, ensuring the organisation’s structure, culture, people, and processes are in shape, and in harmony with its corporate strategy.”

Set to showcase their full range of services that offer solutions covering the full HR spectrum, CivilSoft is one of many top companies exhibiting technology solutions during the three-day event, and the company believes advances in technology will lead to an increase in the quality of data gained from employees.

Rocca added, “Companies are exploring new ways to leverage technologies such as wearables, mobile devices, social networks, and employee portals to create a consumer-grade user experience that can drive adoption, and in turn, enhance data quality – while technologies such as analytics and artificial intelligence are helping them derive greater value out of their data.”

Similarly, international talent management solutions provider, Cubiks, will bring their portfolio of innovative and break-through services focusing on providing organisations with concise real time data assessing an employee’s performance, leading to a more streamlined, straightforward review system.

Orla Spencer, a senior consultant from Cubiks said, “A trend and opportunity we see within HR is getting more data-driven informed decisions around people’s performance within organisations. This trend also challenges HR, as there is a global shift for organisations to become more data-savvy, keeping up with the pace of technological developments.

“We are moving away from annual reviews to a more fluid flexible review system where feedback on a more regular basis is on the agenda. In today’s climate, feedback and communication needs to be transparent and inclusive.”

The 14th edition of the HR Summit & Expo is set to host more than 100 exhibitors showcasing the latest in HR solutions for organisations, as well as welcome over 5,000 HR professionals who will have access to learning seminars.

The seminars agenda, held across three days, will deliver more than 70 sessions spanning seven themes: learning and development; employee engagement; HR technology and people analytics; compensation, benefits and employee wellness; professional development; business, leadership and strategy; and recruitment and talent management.

The Summit will also feature speakers from prominent regional and international companies such as VISA, Emaar Hospitality, EXPO2020, Guinness World Records, Jaguar Land Rover, Oracle, and PepsiCo.

The HR Summit & Expo is supported by Headline Sponsors: Oracle, CivilSoft, Wharton University of Pennsylvania, Henley Business School, London Business School and NeuroLeadership Institute; Strategic Partner: Franklin Covey; Platinum Sponsors: Financial Times, Daman, Cubiks Cornerstone OnDemand and XpertLearning; Gold Sponsors: CRI Group and CIPD; Silver Sponsors: HR Certificate Institute, Eruditus, Dale Carnegie and Brainquil; and Mobile App Sponsor: OnPro.
