• AUS Islamic Club launches an innovative quiz app called ‘Muslim Quiz Challenge’ this Ramadan
• This app, available on iOS and Android platforms, provides insight and tests individual knowledge on various Islam-related topics with a world-wide outreach
• Hosting 12 Islamic categories with more than 10,000 questions, this 6-round game app ensures months of fun and addictive gameplay

 The AUS Islamic Club has introduced a new quiz app - ‘Muslim Quiz Challenge’, which is expected to take Islamic education to new technological heights.  The idea for the App came during a discussion on how to leverage current smart technologies to help educating on Islamic topics.

The app comes as an add-on to the Ramadan season. It is a fun and educational way to learn about Muslim and Islamic facts and culture. Suitable for all age groups, the app aims at individuals who are looking to gain insight on various topics under Islam at their fingertips. Meant to be an educating and challenging trivia quiz game, this app will allow players to compete against their friends or Muslims worldwide and showcase their knowledge through a worldwide leaderboard.

 

Abid Farhan, President of the AUS Islamic Club, said, “We are pleased to launch this app during the holy month of Ramadan. It is a perfect blend of tradition with technology and we urge everyone to take advantage of the app during this season and even thereafter. It is our attempt to bring teachings of the rich islamic tradition on finger tips, making it easy to learn and spread it for the well being of the Muslim community worldwide.”

Hosting 12 Islamic categories with more than 10,000 questions, this 6-round  game app ensures months of fun and addictive gameplay. Bringing a social aspect into perspective, the app also boasts Facebook integration, in-game chat, access to random member players and Facebook players, and a worldwide leaderboard. The app will also allow user interaction with its ‘Submit a Question’ functionality aspect. The app is created and maintained by a team of 25 members.

The app is released on iOS and Android platforms, in a free or app purchase option. The purchased app costs only AED 7.29 (2 USD) that lets users create their own special avatars, is ad-free and provides detailed game statistics, among various other features available on the free app version.

Currently, the app is available in English and Arabic, but will potentially be available with many other languages, such as Urdu and Bahasa.
