February 9, 2018 is the staring date of the Olympic Winter Games in
South Korea, 1924 was the beginning of this games, event which comes once every 4 years.

The torch was flown from Greece to Korea in November 2017. It was received by sports minister "Du Jong-hwan" and "Kim Yuna" the ski champion, and actually cut the distance of 2018 km.

South Korea will host the Winter Games in Pyeongchang, 180 km east of Seoul, and in neighboring cities. It is the first Olympic Winter Games to be held in South Korea since it hosted the 1988 Summer Olympics.
