As part of its strategy to attract the most talented students in the UAE and the region, Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi organizes its annual Open Day under the theme “Your First Steps towards the Future”. The event will take place on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 9 A.M. to 6 P.M at the Atrium, on its campus in Al Reem Island and is expected to attract around 2000 participants.

 

The open day is a yearly event at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi that aims to gather under one roof students from different schools, parents, teachers, counselors and every person involved in the higher education. Visitors get the opportunity to explore the campus and the available undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Various workshops and presentations about admission process and the French higher education are planned for this day as well as informative sessions about the different programmes offered and campus tours. 

 

Dr. Fatima Saeed Al Shamsi, Deputy Vice Chancellor of Administrative Affairs at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi said: “Organizing the Open Day event since 2010 reflects our continuous commitment to attract excellent students who are looking forward to start their academic journey in a renowned university internationally. Through these initiatives, we seek to highlight the crucial role Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi plays in supporting students develop their skills and capacities, providing them with the needed tools to complete their diploma successfully as well as guiding them in their preparation to pursue their careers”.

 

Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi offers 9 undergraduate programmes and 13 postgraduate programmes.
