Saudi Justice Ministry launches monthly data report on court, notary work

The Justice Ministry said it will launch a monthly data report program on five major areas of the courts and notaries via its website.
The program aims to provide transparent and statistically meaningful data on the performance of judiciary and notary facilities, and to disseminate information about the legal system to the public.
The monthly report will be launched on the ministry’s portal within its open data format, to make it more accessible for users to ensure maximum transparency in legal and judicial facilities, the ministry said.
Sami Al-Hamoud, undersecretary for planning and information, said the report provides major indexes on the judiciary, including the number of cases and verdicts received and issued by courts, statistical analysis of enforcement rulings, the volume of documentation of notaries, and statistical analysis of marriage and divorce certificates.
The ministry’s Business Intelligence Center, which oversees the statistical information, collects data and builds tools to display interactive and analytical reports to improve performance.
