Saudi Interior Ministry to present workshop at global information summit

The Interior Ministry will present a workshop on its key digital transformation drives at the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS), scheduled Monday through Saturday in Geneva, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
Among the services provided by the ministry is the Absher e-portal, which provides online services for Saudi citizens and expatriates.
The WSIS, which will be attended by information and communications decision-makers, aims to exchange ideas and experiences on knowledge-based economies, electronic preparedness and best practices in building human capacities in information and communication technology.
It will also shed light on how to achieve digital awareness and build confidence in using information technology.
