Saudi Agriculture Exhibition sets the dates for its 36th edition in October 2017

Driven by the new directions to develop the aquaculture, organic farming, green houses in Saudi Arabia, the agriculture sector is witnessing major changes to meet its preset objectives and achieve sustainable food security in line with vision 2030.

The recent national development strategy launched by the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture, and the Agricultural development fund is looking to develop this sector through transforming the aquaculture into a real industry and increasing the contribution of the industry in the economy.

This plan will help achieve self-sufficiency in sea-food products, increase the production capacity to 1 million tons by 2029 in addition to creating more than 400 thousand job opportunities for young Saudis.

In line with these new insights, the Saudi Agriculture Exhibition offers an ideal platform gathering industry experts, to discuss the latest trends and the lucrative investment opportunities that this sector has to offer. It also facilitates knowledge and experience transfer among local and international participants, while showcasing products, services and new technologies that support the growth of this vital industry.

The organizing company, Riyadh Exhibitions company announced that they have started with the preparations for the 36th edition of the Saudi Agriculture exhibition which will be held between 8-11 October 2017, at Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center.
