Samsung Partners with Dubai Internet City to Showcase its Latest Innovative Experiences at GITEX Technology Week

Samsung is bringing something different to GITEX Technology Week, in partnership with Dubai Internet City. Between October 8th to 12th, visitors can experience the world of the future at the Dubai Internet City stand, and see the latest offerings from Samsung in different environments, including the workplace, the family, in retail and in leisure.

We always strive to bring our customers the best products across the Gulf and we invite visitors to experience our latest smart technologies first hand this GITEX Technology Week,” said Mohammad Gharaibeh, Head of Enterprise, Mobile Business at Samsung Gulf Electronics

Four dedicated districts at the Dubai Internet City stand will display Samsung’s latest offerings in real life environments, including the Family Room. Here visitors will get to experience the QLed TV, The Frame and Samsung DEX. Samsung has also partnered with Savvy who provides a solution that allows Hotel/Home owners to control devices like TVs, curtains, lights, and room temperatures all from their Samsung phones. In the Workplace environment, visitors will be able to use the smart interactive touchscreen mounted on the wall, enjoy the executive Majlis and the latest Samsung TVs. Furthermore, in the Retail space, visitors can use Samsung Pay and enter into a Spin and Win competition. Lastly, in the fun Leisure area customers can use the Samsung Gear Fit2 Pro while cycling to monitor their health, and use the Galaxy Note 8 to track their fitness.

Ammar Al Malik, Executive Director of Dubai Internet City, commented: “Dubai today is an accelerator of innovation, digitalisation and growth, and Dubai Internet City (DIC) is at the heart of this mandate, translating the Dubai Strategy for Innovation into action and supporting Dubai’s diversification agenda. Several of these innovative concepts are brought to life this week at the GITEX DIC pavilion, and we are pleased that Samsung is part of this experience and DIC’s ‘Smarter Journey’, which allows visitors to immerse themselves in the city of the future.”

Samsung devices will be on display at the Dubai Internet City stand located at the Concourse 2 CC-26 at the World Trade Center.

Here visitors will get to experience the QLed TV, The Frame and Samsung DEX. Samsung has also partnered with Savvy who provides a solution that allows Hotel/Home owners to control devices like TVs, curtains, lights, and room temperatures all from their Samsung phones.
