Samsung Electronics Redefines Quality Standards in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Technologies

The main drivers behind Saudi Arabia’s air conditioner market growth are extreme climatic conditions, rising income levels and rapidly growing infrastructure. They will lead to an increase in electricity consumption and higher consumer expectations in technology advancements.

Companies will now be expected to not only offer complete air conditioning solutions but also create a quiet and comfortable environment for both residential and commercial buildings; by delivering on higher air quality standards including purification, temperature & air flow with centralized and independent monitoring control centers.

Held under the patronage of HRH Prince Sattam bin Khalid bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. participates as the educational sponsor in the MCE SAUDI 2015 exhibition between November 30th and December 2nd 2015. Samsung gained a strong foothold in the air conditioning sector, delivering not only luxurious air conditioning units that cater to business and residential spaces, but also providing energy-efficient environment-friendly products with state-of-the art technologies in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units.

At the exhibition, Samsung showcases its  full line up of indoor and outdoor models:  slim ducted split, MSP, HSP, its new 360 Cassette air conditioning unit in 4, 2 and 1 way cassette types, the DVM Chiller, and new side discharge VRF unit and the world’s largest next generation DVM S capacity for single units and modules in all its sizes - 8HP,10HP,12HP,14HP,16HP,20HP up to the 30HP. Together, these innovations in HVAC engineering will transform air conditioning by boosting energy efficiency and performance, maximizing space, and increasing cooling speed offering High EER ration through.

Saher Hilal, A/C Head of Department at Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and speaker at MCE commented: “recently, several initiatives have been taken globally to reduce our ecological footprint while enticing manufacturers to innovate in products that are easily operated, that can leverage both reliability and design and that can withstand the extreme climatic conditions. Samsung’s HVAC units offer higher energy efficiency, power saving, easy installation and control thanks to an innovative automatic leak detection system. Our products have passed the energy requirements enforced by the EU as of January 2013 and were ready to satisfy the stricter regulations set beginning 2014.”

Samsung boosts efficiencies and performance capabilities with the new Super DVM – the Digital Variable Multi air conditioner. The DVM S 30HP combines the DVM S with cutting-edge innovation for enhanced performance, efficiency and reliability.   This compressor provides powerful, rapid cooling and heating with minimum energy consumption. In addition, with the use of R-410A, a more eco-friendly refrigerant helped DVM S has attained the Restriction of Hazardous Substance (RoHS) certification. Other models such as the Samsung Free Joint Multi (FJM) and Ceiling Air Conditioner (CAC) also consume less power.

Mostra Convegno Expocomfort (MCE) is a globally renowned exhibition dedicated to residential and industrial installations, air conditioning and energy efficiency. In its 40th  edition this year from November 30th to December 2nd ,  2015, MCE Saudi 2015 is organized in partnership with Reed Sunaidi Exhibitions  over 14,600 sqm of exhibition space. Saudi Arabia with its extreme climatic conditions, large and increasing population and high disposable incomes accounts for the largest share of the HVAC systems market across the GCC countries. The country is now open to receive new technologies in this field, and KSA is a market that wants new products and innovations because it is the largest country in the GCC region and its population is expected to reach 37 million by 2020 while total housing stock in the GCC is expected to reach 7 million units by 2020.
