NISSAN VOTED ‘MOST EFFECTIVE’ AUTO BRAND IN THE MIDDLE EAST FOR FOURTH YEAR

Japanese auto maker Nissan has again backed up its impressive ranking as the Middle East’s most effectively marketed automotive brand following the announcement of the authoritative Effie Awards.

The Effies, which reward any sector that has achieved success through proven, effective marketing communications, are considered the benchmark in their field.

Nissan has been awarded as the most efficient/awarded automotive brand in the MENA region for the fourth year in a row. Nissan is ranked number three in the MENA area, two rungs higher on the ladder than last year and higher than any other car maker.

Compared to other global Nissan campaigns, the Middle East has dominated the numbers with 70 per cent of global Nissan points.

“The Effies are an exceptional yardstick. They are a great resource for evaluating standards against external criteria,” says Nissan Middle East regional managing director Samir Cherfan.

“This is the fourth year in a row that we have had a stand-out showing in the Effies. Nissan is proud of our Effie accolades as they are a tremendous barometre for brands, agencies and companies in general.

“The latest Effie rankings again reveal that we at Nissan initiate outstanding ideas and marketing programs on a consistent basis. But all aspects of our success are due to our unrivalled product line-up, customer service and after-sales where excellence is the watchword.”

“We are pleased to have continued our momentum at the Effie Awards from the previous years – in fact we have increased it,” says Cherfan.

Each ranked company in the Effie Index has undergone rigorous evaluations of their case studies and work by industry-expert judges to prove that their marketing achieved compelling results.

Launched in 2011 and announced annually, many analysts say the index is the most comprehensive global ranking of marketing effectiveness, according to analysts.
