As part of its commitment to spread hope among all segments of Saudi society, the health care providers at Nahdi Company visited the Prince Ahmed School in Jeddah to raise awareness about diabetes and how to deal with various cases of diabetes. The visit included awareness lectures for the students and the presentation of educational leaflets about diabetes and how to prevent it as well as the method of dealing with diabetics. The visit found a positive interaction by the students who participated in asking questions which enriched the visit and achieved the desired goal.

 

It is worth mentioning that the phenomenon of diabetes in Saudi Arabia is one of the most important health issues that require strong cooperation among members of society, as 14% of the Saudi society suffers from diabetes. This increase was contributed due to the lack of awareness about healthy lifestyle among members of society.
