Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi has stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Russian Federation are rich in natural resources and share the same visions on economy diversification.

He said that this will give us much room for cooperation between the two countries, adding that there is a discussion currently with Russian companies in the field of transport, oil and gas. Russian companies have won contracts in the field of water desalination in Riyadh.

This came in a press statement made by Al-Qasabi following the launch of the first Saudi-Russian Investment Forum which was held in Moscow under the theme "Investment Towards Building a Strong Partnership" organized by the General Investment Authority in cooperation with the Council of Saudi Chambers and the Saudi-Russian Joint Council.
