Make your breath smells good all the time

Having amazing-smelling breath is easier than you think. At Dentist Direct Dubai, a UK-based expert in dentistry with a holistic approach to oral health, you will feel confident to make that good first impression with the launch of its Fresh Breath Clinic offering treatments to eliminate bad breath.

Bad breath or halitosis is a problem that affects most people on occasion, whether during an illness or after a meal. In fact, 95% of us suffer from bad breath at some time in our lives, and one in four adults suffers from bad breath on a regular basis.

“At Dentist Direct we can help you identify the cause of halitosis and cure this embarrassing problem. We will identify areas of bacteria accumulation in your mouth and show you the best way to control them,” according to Dr. M. Banker, Regional Director of Dentist Direct Dubai.

Bad breath usually stems from poor oral hygiene (including neglecting the tongue area, which hosts the bacteria that cause bad breath). Other causes can be dehydration, dry mouth caused by medication, smoking and other dietary habits. Only a small number of people with halitosis have issues originating from the throat, nose or stomach.

Rachael England, Dental Hygienist of Dentist Direct Dubai explained: “A quick way to test the potency of your breath is to lick the inside of your wrist with the back of your tongue, let it dry for a few seconds, and then smell. If you subsequently find yourself recoiling in horror then you should perhaps consider visiting your dental hygienist.”

The Fresh Breath Clinic will provide a through hygiene treatment including cleansing of the tongue, followed by an Oral ProBiotic Rinse to rebalance the good bacteria in your mouth. This will be maintained at home with the oral hygiene regime and Oral ProBiotic Lozenges that will be prescribed to the patient.

“Preventing halitosis is always easier than treating it. By developing the right habits, you can effectively help prevent it,” Rachael added.
