Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has commended Saudi doctors and paramedical staff for their efforts to improve health services in the Kingdom along with expatriate workers.
He made this comment while receiving acting Health Minister Mohammed Al-Sheikh and senior health officials at his palace in Riyadh on Tuesday. He praised doctors from Arab and other foreign countries for their services.
“I am happy to see a large number of Saudi male and female doctors extending their services to citizens and residents across the country,” the king said while emphasizing the government’s efforts to strengthen Saudi capabilities.

“This has been a lengthy development process that began from the days of King Abdul Aziz, passing through the times of his sons Saud, Faisal, Khaled, Fahd, Abdullah, and the two former crown princes, Sultan and Naif, who had shown their keenness to boost the Kingdom’s progress,” he said.
King Salman said Saudi Arabia is honored to serve the Two Holy Mosques as well as the millions of pilgrims who visit the country to perform Haj and Umrah. “The title of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is a big honor for us.”

Al-Sheikh spoke on behalf of health care leaders, expressing thanks and appreciation to the king for holding the reception and providing them with valuable guidance.
The minister assured the king that the health care facilities under the Ministry of Health would be keen to provide the best possible services to citizens and residents.
Crown Prince Muqrin, deputy premier, and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, second deputy premier and interior minister, attended the event.
