The Director General of the King Abdullah II Center for Design and Development, Maj. Gen. Mohammed Farghal, launched the Future Scientists Initiative, which aims to create a generation of scientists with the skills and skills to be the human capital of defense technology.
Major General Farghal said in a statement issued by the center on Saturday that it was announced in the daily newspapers about the initiative so that those wishing to submit their applications according to the procedure followed, indicating that the initiative aims to enable young people to keep abreast of developments and deal with modern science and technology in light of the rapid development witnessed by The world in various fields, especially that modern technology is accessible to everyone thanks to the communication revolution that occurred in the late century and the beginning of this century.

 

He added that the initiative will draw on outstanding students from different universities, especially creative thinkers, and train them in the various fields of defense science and technology owned by the center, such as: manufacturing armored vehicles and mechanisms of multiple uses, weapons and ammunition, military equipment, As well as areas of future technology in cybersecurity, virtual reality, cryptography and nanotechnology.
