AEEDC Dubai Night took place yesterday at Le Meridien hotel in Dubai, celebrating 20 years of success and achievements for AEEDC Dubai Conference and Exhibition. AEEDC Dubai Night was attended by His Excellency Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director General, General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs, who was received by Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani, Executive Chairman of AEEDC Dubai and The Global Scientific Dental Alliance and a number of international dignitaries from all around the world. AEEDC Dubai Night was also attended by Prof. Tawfiq Al Khoja, Director General of the Executive Board, Health Ministers Council for GCC. 

 

AEEDC Dubai Night is considered one of the key annual activities that take place during AEEDC Dubai Conference and Exhibition. AEEDC Dubai is considered the largest dental event in the MENASA region and the 2nd largest in the world, and it is organized by INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions, member of INDEX Holding and is held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance and President of the Dubai Health Authority,

 

AEEDC Dubai Night included a number of recreational and cultural shows, gaining admiration of all the attendees who expressed their delight about all the presentations and accompanying entertainment shows. The ceremony also witnessed the handout of several awards by Global Scientific Dental Alliance committee, given to prominent personalities in dentistry field for their achievements in the dental sector and to prominent local sponsoring institutions.

 

His Excellency Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri and Dr. Abdul Salam Al Madani presented to Dr. Tariq Khoory, Honorary Chairman of AEEDC Dubai, the Personality of the Year Award, for his outstanding contributions to the oral health profession. Members of the Global Scientific Dental Alliance has also awarded the Association of German Dental Manufacturers, the recognition award that was received by Dr. Markus Heibach, and AEEDC 2016 Special Award went to His Excellency Thani Juma Berregad, Chairman of the Dubai Club for the Disabled. 

 

In the conclusion of the ceremony, His Excellency Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, praised INDEX Conferences & Exhibitions for their great organization and wished them continuous success and achievements on all their conferences and exhibitions. He also commended INDEX for their leading role in supporting conferences and exhibition tourism, which attracts a great number of visitors and tourists from all over the world every year.
