Huawei Tech Investment Saudi Arabia launched its advanced P10 Plus and P10 smartphones in the Kingdom, offering cutting-edge performance designed with business users in mind. The new smartphones provide innovative "Portrait" photograph capturing capabilities as well as fast battery charging, in a sleek, durable design.

The P10 Plus and P10 smartphones enable users to accomplish business activities from any location thanks to their advanced connectivity capabilities to local and international networks and the internet. The new smartphones will enable users to connect to surrounding devices at high data-transfer speeds. Additionally, the P10 Plus and P10 smartphones provide the option to connect to television units to display various formats of business presentations as well as the ability to connect to a wireless keyboard and mouse, thus converting the smartphones into portable computers capable of running an array of productivity programs; such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Equipped with 6 and 4 Gigabytes of memory, the P10 Plus and P10 offer advanced performance in addition to storage capacities of 32, 64 and 128 gigabytes which can be increased with an additional 256 gigabytes of storage using MicroSD portable memory cards. The smartphones’ "Kirin 960" processor operates at speeds reaching 2.4 gigahertz with the ability to process advanced graphics and operate graphics applications with ease. The smartphones support dual SIM cards to enable connectivity to the internet conveniently and to facilitate communication with family and friends easily while users are travelling. The P10 Plus and P10 feature sleek, durable designs with a width of 7 millimeters and weigh 165 and 145 grams, respectively as well as featuring 5.5 and 5.1-inch display screens.  

The P10 Plus and P10 utilize a unique photograph capturing system from Leica with a 2.0 dual lens and the Leica camera featuring the new Pro Edition 2.0 dual lens. In developing the smartphones, Huawei collaborated with Leica Camera AG to develop cameras that allow users to showcase their artistic skills and capture unforgettable images that mimic Leica's modern imagery using the new innovative camera’s features. Users of the P10 Plus and P10 smartphones will be able to take unforgettable photographs and memories using the smartphones’ front camera, developed for the first time in cooperation with Leica, and the smartphones’ smart flutter programs that function alongside advanced lenses to capture high-quality portrait images.

The P10 Plus and P10 smartphones offer unprecedented technological features; such as the 3D facial detection technology and flutter to enhance the quality of captured photographs and organic light. The smartphones use a 12 megapixel RGB sensor and a 20 megapixel monochrome sensor to achieve beautiful photographs. These features are combined with Optical Image Stabilization OIS solutions and the first dual camera equipped with pixel combining technology, making P10 Plus and P10 the ideal smartphones for photography at night or in dim light conditions. Additionally, other photography and lighting equipment has undergone additional development following extensive research.   

The batteries of the P10 Plus and P10 operate at capacities of 3750 milliamperes per hour and 3200 milliamperes per hour, respectively, and use the advanced SuperCharge feature, exclusive to Huawei. This technology enables the smartphones’ batteries to charge up to 60% in just 30 minutes and allows full battery charging in only 90 minutes. The two smartphones also offer the Super Safe-5 gate system which regulates voltage, electric current and temperatures with the aim of elevating the batteries' safety and life. This technology enables the smartphones to "speak" directly to the charger to adjust the electric current required to charge the battery at different levels. The technology also allows for the adjustment of electric currents at any time in line with the batteries' temperature and power levels. The P10 Plus and P10 smartphones are equipped with the capability of identifying electric current leakage; such as elevated temperatures and sudden drop in current, which triggers the batteries to charge faster in the most efficient way possible, and protects the user.

It is worth mentioning that Huawei Consumer Business Group and The Pantone Color Institute have partnered to feature the latest trending colors in Huawei’s P10 Plus and P10, resulting in new colors for the smartphones. Through this exciting partnership with Huawei, The Pantone Color Institute will continue to explore the language of color to bring Huawei customers the most striking and on-trend colors in the palm of their hand.

Huawei is also set to launch its new smart watch – Huawei Watch 2 in the Kingdom by the end of April this year. The elegant watch connects to users' smartphones (supporting smartphones that run Android and iOS operating systems) providing an extension to their phones on its screen. The watch enables users to read their sports performance records using several advanced sensors and systems that record the distance travelled, speed, number of steps taken, heart rate and calories burnt. The smart watch also enables users to operate fitness applications. Using the watch, smartphone users can launch the "jogging to burn fat" application and "fitness exercise” with the aim of leading them to speeds required to achieve their fitness goals. The watch displays the percentage of goals reached and alerts the user when he or she requires restful break intervals before continuing strenuous exercises. The Huawei Watch 2 also features a GPS sensor, music download and streaming functionality and a feature that alerts users to stand up after lengthy periods of sitting down; all with the aim of helping them lead healthy lifestyles at all times.

The P10 Plus and P10 smartphones are available in the Kingdom in Dazzling Blue, Graphite Black and Dazzling Gold colors and are priced at 2499 and 1899 Saudi Riyals, respectively.
