‘Horouf,’ the innovative educational imprint of Kalimat Group - a publishing house dedicated to printing and distributing quality children books in Arabic - is continuing with its programme of activities taking place at its winter camp for children at Maktaba Al Qasba, Sharjah. Titled ‘Shitaa Bil Arabi’ (Winter in Arabic), the camp is set to conclude on January 5, 2017.

 

The first week of Shitaa Bil Arabi has seen children attending engaged in a spectrum of recreational and educational activities, with the programme having been specially devised to provide children with fun-filled experiences that encourage them to learn and explore throughout the winter holidays.

 

The youngsters have engaged with the interactive environment of the camp, making the most out of the educational, sports and arts facilities provided by Horouf. Author Samia Ayesh has conducted a series of reading sessions for the children.
