 As part of its ongoing mission to improve the performances of applicators in the paint industry, HEMPEL Paints, a trusted provider in decorative, protective, marine, container and yacht markets and a world leader in the coating industry held a series of workshops to introduce Makhmaleyat, a creative range of Fusions effect paints to more than 1,500 applicators in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The workshop revealed the most prominent techniques and guidelines for using HEMPEL Paints under the best global practices. 

Commenting on the workshop, Mr. Mohamad Abdul Motaleb, Retail and Promotion Manager of HEMPEL Paints, said: “HEMPEL aims to help Applicators benefit from our newest products to offer the best results to its customers according to top notch quality and low maintenance, not to mention extending the product’s life cycle. This workshop complements the strong demand of the paint industry in Saudi Arabia and highlights the need to raise the level of expertise”. 

The workshop included a lecture on paints and the evolution of the industry in general, as well as the introduction of Makhmaleyat, which is part of the creative range of Fusions effect paints that cater to different preferences and tastes by giving the room an elegant and sophisticated velvet look. The final look varies in color tone from dark to light reminiscing the movement of the fabric; and while it takes more time to dry, it gives the applicator the flexibility to fix and retouch when needed. Makhmaleyat adds glamour to the walls and fits in both classical and modern styles as it breaks the limits of standard paint. 

The participants tested HEMPEL’s Makhmaleyat, and were informed on the proper use of the material and the methods to implement the trims and finishing in construction works according to the latest techniques in the field of modern décor and paint developments. 

After testing the product, the participants praised the workshop, adding that it contributed to the extension of their knowledge about modern developments in the field of paints and the use of the latest technology, in ways which ensures access to modern decorations inside buildings and homes. One of the participants described HEMPEL Paints as being easier to work with compared to other paints. He also expressed his admiration to the product Makhmaleyat, which gives a chance for applicators to retouch, easily and smoothly. 

The workshop also comprised of topics addressing the problems that applicators face with the latest decors in the paint industry as well as the introduction to all of HEMPEL Paints modern tools, which is considered one of the most advanced in the industry where precision and mixture of dyes are always made the right way.
