This season, ba&sh has developed a full line of accessories made from raffia.

 

Handcrafted by highly skilled Madagascan artisans on the Great Red Island. These unique baskets are made using carefully selected natural material such as leather, and in particular raffia from the leaves of the palm trees native to the island, bought directly from the gatherers without any middlemen.

 

Both modern and timeless, the ba&sh raffia collection combines fashion, authenticity and exoticism—true craftsmanship. “We were won over by the skill and expertise of the brand Sans Arcidet and touched by the commitment of these three sisters to the Madagascan people. That’s why we decided to work with them to create this collection, including two styles with co-branding. With this line, we hope to show that raffia—already a must-have for beach styles—can add a twist to an urban look for days in the city”, explained Barbara and Sharon.
