Expo Astana outlines the future challenges of clean energy

A few days ago, the World Expo in Kazakhstan will be held under the theme "Future Energy". On the international events accompanying the exhibition, Rapil Zhoshybayev said, a number of major international and cultural events will be organized during the exhibition. Along with the official opening ceremony of the 2017 exhibition, the SCO summit will be held.

 

The Kazakh official expected large numbers of delegations and tourists to arrive at the same time as he will organize a number of major international conferences with the participation of ministers of energy and tourism. The closing ceremony of the exhibition coincides with the first summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on science and technology with the participation of heads of member states.

 

In order to attract the leading scientific community and research centers to Expo 2017, we visited the American Silicon Valley and Stanford University, whose graduates founded many start-ups, Bangalore, Silicon Valley in India and the main industrial park of Skolkovo in Moscow. The major innovation centers in the Commonwealth of Independent States; Australian universities such as the Australian National University and Monash University; and the leading universities in Singapore, Malaysia and the United Arab Emirates.

 

He said that there were 47 cooperation agreements signed with tourism associations in the world, including the Pacific Islands Travel and Tourism Association and tourist associations from Russia, China, Germany, Poland, Latvia, Singapore, Malaysia, Korea and Azerbaijan. After Expo 2017

 

The buildings and infrastructure of Expo 2017 will be used to establish the Astana International Financial Center (IFC), the International Center for the Development of Green Technologies and Investment Projects under the United Nations, as well as the International Technology Park of Emerging Companies.

The Commission will follow the model of advanced financial centers in the world such as London, Hong Kong, Dubai and Singapore.
