Epson to launch new production Fine Art and Graphic printers at SGI Middle East 2017

Epson will display a line-up of its latest innovations in printing for signage, graphics, dye sublimation, textile, and labels from 15 to 17th January 2017, at SGI Middle East at the Dubai World Trade Center. The company will launch its cutting edge new production fine art and graphic printers range - SureColor P10000 and P20000, which combine the highest printing speed and superior quality in 600x600 dpi and higher.

Epson will also relaunch its Signage and Fabric range printers with latest generation PrecisionCore TFP printheads that produce images accurate in detail and superior in fidelity with uncompromising image consistency. The new models include a number of features to ensure the most accurate, precise, and reliable results. For excellent colour reproduction, a new Ultra Chrome Pro 10-colour ink-set consistently delivers fantastic looking prints. Black will be deep and rich thanks to new high density Photo and Matte Black inks.

Moreover, a new printhead structure means fewer vibrations, and more accurate ink droplets and dot placement. To ensure consistency without the need for expensive add-ons, the Epson Colour Calibration utility means you can enjoy hassle-free printing and maintenance, while easily managing colour reproduction.

Shihab Zubair, Regional Sales Manager- Professional Solutions, Epson Europe B.V, says, “We have experienced strong demand for signage printing in this region with an 18% growth in 2016. With the introduction of new products and upgraded technology, we look forward to capturing larger share of the regional signage sector. Signage and textile printing is expected to grow at a faster pace as the market continues to shift from analogue to digital printing and continues to adopt new technologies. Our PrecisionCore TFP printheads, which will be demonstrated at SGI, is one of our major break-through innovations and is the result of one of the largest investments in research and development in Epson’s history, merging the company’s expertise in MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems) fabrication with advances in material science.”

In addition to the speed, quality, reliability, ink and media flexibility; PrecisionCore is a scalable technology suited for products ranging from industrial systems such as large-scale label presses to desktop printers. Its modularity allows PrecisionCore print chips to be arrayed in both moving serial print head and fixed line head configurations.

Epson is a Supporting Sponsor of SGI 2017 and is participating in the event for the eighth consecutive year. Epson will be present at stand E-44 in Hall number 7 at DWTC.
