Envoy urges Saudi employment in global organizations

The Saudi ambassador to the US, Prince Abdullah bin Faisal, has called for maximization of the Kingdom’s support to international organizations in employing Saudis, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
He also called for the provision of jobs to Saudis studying in the US, adding that efforts are needed to train Saudis in line with local regulations and systems.
He recalled the directive of King Salman to Saudi ambassadors that their hearts should be open to their citizens to ascertain their needs, take care of their affairs and remove any obstacles they may face.
The Kingdom has contributed to solving many international crisis via donations and financial support to international organizations such as the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), so it has to make use of them for the employment of Saudis, Prince Abdullah said.
There is great potential in economic cooperation with the US and in Vision 2030, and the best training in the US is in the financial services sector, which is experiencing enormous growth in the Kingdom, he added.
Last week, a Shoura Council panel called on the Saudi Human Rights Commission (HRC) to train Saudis to work as experts and investigators in international human rights organizations.
