Dubai Customs wins CIO IN GOVERNMENT at Catalysts Awards

Brought by GEC Media Group and organized by Enterprise Channels MEA, the Catalysts Awards in its 5th edition honored the industry trailblazers including Dubai Customs. The event, held in conjunction with The Future IT Summit, was held on 13th March at The Armani Hotel, Burj Khalifa, Dubai. Maintaining its legacy, the awards recognized the top CIOs/IT Heads in various verticals, sales and marketing leaders and well as the emerging marketers.

TheService Innovation Department at Dubai Customs received the award under the CIO IN GOVERNMENT category in the presence of 300 IT companies from around the globe. 

The summit was an ideal platform for all innovators, experts and consultants to meet and share their insight, experience, knowledge and future perspectives. 

Hussam Juma, Director of Service Innovation Department expressed his happiness for the award and said the award is a reflection of Dubai Customs’ commitment towards service innovation.

“We work hard to make our services as innovative as possible, because with innovation comes convenience and simplicity. Thanks to this we hit a record in client happiness with 97.5% on the happiness meter, which again reflects our vision of turning Dubai Customs into an innovative workplace and helping Dubai with its big expectations of becoming the happiest and smartest city on earth.”

The event also witnessed the Top 10 Best IT Companies to Work for in 2019. The Top 10 IT Companies awards honored the companies that have demonstrated extraordinary leadership with a proven track record of growth, profitability and essentially employee happiness. The event also extended opportunities for companies to network with the industry leaders and government officials.
