Citymax Hotels, the hospitality division of the Landmark Group has been honored with a Hozpitality Gold Award, for Hotel of The Year for the 3 star category.  The award ceremony event took place on the evening of Monday, 12th Dec 2016 in at the Dusit Thani Dubai, where over 350 top hospitality professionals met for a gala dinner.  

Citymax Hotels received the prestigious Gold award, for three star Hotel of the Year. Over 400 candidates entered the race to be nominated as one of the best in their category. The Middle East Hozpitality Excellence Awards 2016 was presented to recognize top industry organizations which have shown skill, creativity, ingenuity and success in the Middle East & North Africa’s growing hospitality industry.

 

With winners selected based from online voting, the awards received over 57,000 votes for various categories. Mr Russel Sharpe, COO of Citymax Hotels said: “With a total of five prestigious hotel awards this year, Citymax is honored to have won the Gold Award for three star Hotel of the Year at the Middle East Hozpitality Excellence Awards 2016. Adding to its extensive awards portfolio, Citymax Hotel’s recent awards in 2016 include; World Travel Awards 2016 – World and The Middle East’s Leading Budget Hotel Brand, Middle East Hotel Awards 2016 – Best Budget Hotel Al Barsha, Pan Arab Strategic Awards 2016 – Strategic Website of the Year Award and Trip Advisor 2016 Travellers Choice Award - Citymax Hotel Al Barsha.
