Children can Enjoy Final Week of Buccaneering Fun at Al Majaz Waterfront

Children have one last chance to make the most of all the buccaneering fun taking place at Al Majaz Waterfront, as Sharjah’s premium leisure and recreation destination is hosting its final week at its ‘Pirate Village,’ a popular feature at the facility’s Mini Splash Park.

Little ones attending for the Pirate Village schedule this weekend will be able to enjoy a host of nautical-themed activities, including pirate wars with water-filled cannonballs, hunts for hidden treasure and giant bubble making workshops. Famous movie captain Jack Sparrow, star of the Pirates of the Caribbean’ franchise, will be making an appearance to lead the young high seas adventurers in a number of mime shows.

“The Pirate Village at our Mini Splash Park has been a spectacular success and we want to thank all the children and parents who have joined in with the activities on offer - it is their enthusiasm that has made it all so much fun,” said Mohammed Al Mazroui, Manager of Al Majaz Waterfront.

“From July 15, little ones at the park have enjoyed engaging with the pirate stilt walkers roaming the park, have made the most of the face-painting sessions that have transformed them into swashbuckling sailors. We look forward to delivering even more thrills, excitement and learning experiences at the Pirate Village right up to August 15,” he added.

Al Majaz Waterfront’s Pirate Village formed part of the park’s summer entertainment programme aimed at providing youngsters with the perfect environment to play and interact with their peers, to develop their social skills and to make the summer holidays a fun and rewarding time.
