Aljomaih Automotive Company, the largest dealer for General Motors in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, announced its participation in the Saudi International Motor Show, which will take place in Jeddah on December 17-21, 2017.

 

Through its pavilion at the show, the company will showcase a range of the latest models of Chevrolet and GMC brands, including Traverse, Equinox and Terrain, as well as the launch GM electric car sector "Bolt EV", which debuts in Saudi Arabia for the first time ever.

 

Chevrolet electric car "Bolt EV" is heavily equipped with the latest innovations in the electric auto industry.  It's considered as the best electric car in terms of its electronic and mechanical technologies. The car truly reflects the advanced technical development of General Motors in the electric auto industry in particular, and  in the auto industry in general. Chevrolet Bolt EV can achieve more than 500 kilometers of range on a single charge, with the ability to store 150 kilometers worth of range in just a 30-minute charge.

 

Aljomaih Automotive Company also plans to take advantage of the show public and media momentum, and launch the highly sophisticated sports car, Corvette ZR1 2019, which will be available in the Saudi markets in the second quarter next year.

 

Corvette ZR1 2019 is fitted  with a new hand-assembled LT5 small block 6.2L supercharged V8 engine, delivers 755 horsepower and 969 n/m of torque. The car, as well, features advanced electronic driving systems,  which place it in a separate segment with no rivals.

 

Commenting on the company’s participation in the 39th edition of the Saudi International Motor Show in Jeddah, Sheikh Waleed Aljomaih,  COO of Aljomaih Automotive Company, said: "Our participation in the show comes within our  strategy to participate in community events that attract a lot of public, so as to be as close as possible to the public to listen directly to  their comments and opinions about our services, and about the products that we offer in order to enhance our services".
