al khaliji hosts their 5th Annual clay shooting competition in Doha

  

Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) P.Q.S.C., Qatar’s next generation bank, organized its fifth “Annual Clay Shooting Competition” at the Lusail Shooting Club. The competition welcomed numerous local and international corporate banks and companies to participate in the occasion.

Launched in 2012, the first shooting event was met with great success and lead to an annual tradition between al khaliji and clients. At this year’s event, al khaliji welcomed Woqood, Qatar Vinyl Company (QVC), Qatar Airways, Gulf Drilling International (GDI), Carnegie Mellon University (CMU-Q), Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), along with multiple local and regional banks, including al khaliji as a host team.

Highlighting the importance of local engagement and proactivity, Mr. Fahad Al Khalifa, al khaliji’s Group Chief Executive Officer, noted:

“Events such as our 5th clay shooting event is to interact with our clients in a light-hearted and informal environment, in addition to developing  stronger ties with them. Building lasting relationships at al khaliji is a fundamental component of our business model, and we believe these strong relationships contribute to our overall success as an institution.”  

A total of 10 teams made up of five members each participated in the competition at the Lusail Shooting Club. The first place was awarded to Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC), followed by Woqood in second place and Qatar Vinyl Company (QVC) in third place.


This competition demonstrates al khaliji’s commitment to fostering strong relations with its client and a real passion for team sports, which reiterates the bank’s stance on team-building and cooperation. Many family members were welcomed to join the event participants, making the day all the more memorable and exciting.
