:  In support of the Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Al Khalij Commercial Bank (al khaliji) P.Q.S.C in association with the Qatar Cancer Society (QCS), recently organized an informative awareness session on breast cancer for the Bank’s staff at al khaliji’s headquarters.

The initiative supports patients in need of care, by educating members of the community on how to better assist them, as well as to raise awareness for early detection, treatment and prevention. During the event, al khaliji showed its solidarity with the noble cause through a special donation to QCS, which was handed by the Group Chief HR & Administration Officer at al khaliji, Mr. Hamad Al Kubaisi.

Qatar Cancer Society is committed to raising awareness in society and educating community members about cancer, the challenges faced by its patients, and what can be done for its prevention, and al khaliji is proud of its collaboration with the organization for this cause.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is observed globally in October, as an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease. The campaign’s mission is to help those affected by breast cancer through early detection, education and support services.
