The General Directorate of Passports is continuing its efforts to fight fraud and attempts to circumvent visa regulations, said director Suleiman Al-Yahya.

“We are implementing the directives of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif, deputy premier and interior minister, to overcome all difficulties and challenges.”
He said the shift from paper to electronic services has increased the speed of e-visa services without the need to apply in person or travel long distances.”
Al-Yahya said 13,930,574 single exit/re-entry visas, 101,897 multiple exit/re-entry visas and 1,918,421 final exit visas have been issued.
He said Absher users can now obtain single- and multiple-entry visas online, as well as print visas directly from the website.
