Ltd. sole distributor for Honda products in Saudi Arabia announced the introduction of the 2018 Civic LX Sport grade with technologically advanced fuel efficient 1.6L Engine at AHCL Head Office, Jeddah Saudi Arabia. Available across all Honda showrooms in KSA, the 1.6L LX Sport grade Honda Civic provides a new sporty looks for customers. It aims to reach out to customers looking for sporty looks and value for money. The all new Civic which was launched in December 2016 with 1.6L engine has seen a marked increase in sales and highly appreciated by customers. Honda aims to further enhance its sales and make its mark in this segment with the launch of 1.6L Civic LX Sport grade with un beatable value proposition in the market place.

Exterior Styling:

In terms of exterior styling, Civic 1.6L LX Sport has the enhanced sporty design and athletic stance of the existing 1.6L Civic range. Civic 1.6L LX Sport offering some additional exterior features like Sporty Deck lid spoiler, high gloss door sash garnish and dark chrome outer handles. Some of the standard features of Civic 1.6L LX Sport include LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), distinctive C-shaped LED taillights which have been highly appreciated in the region, power side mirrors with integrated LED turn signals and the distinctive Piano black sporty grille. The LX Sport boasts of Halogen Fog Lights and 17” Alloy wheels.

 

Interior Styling:

The 1.6L Civic LX Sport interior has the same comfort, sophistication and premium cabin space as the 1.6L and 1.5T RS models. The 1.6L Civic LX Sport also equipped with Sporty metal finish pedal and steering mounted paddle shifter, auto air-conditioning, rear ventilation, and steering wheel mounted controls for Bluetooth Hands Free Telephone (HFT), a 5-inch touch screen audio and USB jacks. Some standard features in all grades include 60:40 folds down rear seats, rear seat armrest with cup holders, sun visor extension mechanism and map light.

 

 

Convenience features in the LX Sport grade include Smart Entry, Push Button Start, Rear Parking Sensors and Remote Engine Starter which starts engine from a distance thereby ensuring that the air-conditioning is switched on and cabin temperature is at maximum comfort before you get in.

LX & LX Sport both grades have Electric Power Steering, Auto headlight off timer, Electric Parking Brake with Brake Hold Function that replaces hand lever with compact, easy to operate switch.

 

Power Train:

Powering the Civic 1.6L LX Sport with new SOHC i-VTEC engine producing a peak horsepower of 123@6500 rpm and a torque of 151N-m@4300 rpm. The engine is mated to a new generation Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The Civic’s new CVT has a taller final gear ratio for fuel-efficient low-rpm cruising, and new-generation G-Design shift logic for smooth acceleration and natural throttle response. The fuel efficiency of the LX and LX Sport grades are at 18.4 Km/l.

The 1.6L Civic LX Sport utilizes Honda’s Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ (ACE™) body structure technology to enhance occupant protection and crash compatibility. It also boasts of Honda active-safety features such as
