Cabinet gives go-ahead for businesses to open 24/7 in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia on Tuesday issued a decree allowing commercial activities to operate for 24 hours, at a financial fee set by the Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs in accordance with the considerations he deems appropriate.

The decision, approved by the Council of Ministers at its meeting today, chaired by Saudi King Salman, sets out the commercial activities that do not apply to this exchange, as required by the public interest or the nature of such activities.
