Bahri celebrates UAE 46th National Day

In celebration of the UAE 46th National Day, Bahri, a global leader in transportation and logistics, organized a series of activities for its employees at the company’s offices in Dubai, in addition to a public event at CITYWALK.

Showcasing the deep-rooted historic relations between the two nations, the celebrations symbolized the bond of true harmony and brotherhood between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE. The long-standing ties between the countries has also led to the establishment of the UAE-KSA Joint Determination Retreat, which aims to implement various initiatives that enhance economic, social and political cooperation.

“The trade volume between KSA and the UAE is the largest in the GCC, reflecting the success of the two countries’ strong bilateral ties,” said Wael Al-Sarhan, Senior Vice President – Marketing and Communication, Bahri. “The UAE is one of the most important regional partners for Saudi Arabia, especially in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 with the UAE Vision.”

While celebrations within Bahri offices in Dubai saw the employees mark the joyous occasion through a range of activities, the event at CITYWALK gave visitors an opportunity to learn more about Bahri and its various business units through state-of-the-art technology such as holograms and Virtual Reality.

Bahri has been operating in the UAE since 1996, offering a full range of transportation and logistics services through its various business units that include Bahri Oil, Bahri Chemicals, Bahri Logistics, Bahri Dry Bulk, Bahri Ship Management, and Bahri Data. The company reached several milestones this year, the most important of which was the vessel additions to its fleet to become the largest Very Large Crude Carriers (VLCCs) owner and operator in the world.
