NahwaSharq Co. LTD, The exclusive and official Importer of Polaris in Saudi Arabia proudly announces its participation of Polaris Slingshot Motorcycles at KSA’s first Race Of Heroes Championship; Saudi’s version of the ultimate Race of Champions international motoring event.

 

Under the direction of the Saudi Entertainment Authority (GEA), the Race of Heroes Championship is expected to become one of the most exciting and prestigious Championship Races, attracting sports enthusiasts for an opportunity to witness a spectacular & profound racing experience in the region.

 

This participation came under a series of local activities & events organized by the Saudi government in welcoming the Riyadh Summit that was held with the attendance of the President of The United States of America and heads of Islamic Countries. The Race of Heroes – a race between the champions of Saudi Arabia & the United States of America - aims to highlight the impact of the Americanculture on the daily lifestyle of Saudi youth. 

NahwaSharq Co. LTD provided Polaris Slingshots to the teams competing against each other at the race, showing off the exotic look and raw performance of these powerful vehicles. The Saudi racing team comprising of Prince Mohamed Bin Saud Bin Fahad, Falah Al Jarba, Abdulhadi Al Qahtani & Abdullah Al Dossary, put on an outstandingdrifting activity  & racing performance that was highly recognizable by officials and cheering crowds at the stadium.

The race was attended by HRH Prince Sultan Bin Bandar Al Faisal, President of the Saudi Arabian Motor Federation, Saudi government officials in the sports field and sports enthusiasts alike, who enjoyed watching the unique & fun experience.  The American racing team led by sports car champion Tommy Kendall won the challenge & walked away with the Riyadh Peace Trophy Award presented to them by HRH Prince Sultan Bin Bandar Al Faisal.

The event took place last week (May 19th 2017) at the Imam Mohamed Bin Saud University stadium. The stadium was transformed into a giant racing circuit, where the Saudi racing team competed against the US racing team in Polaris Slingshots. A set of other sports & entertainment activities took place after the race including a sky diving show amongst other thrilling shows.
