Yas Waterworld is celebrating its fourth anniversary this month, crowning the end of a successful 2016 for the destination by looking back at the key achievements.

The world’s only Emirati-themed waterpark has been recognized multiple times throughout the year as one of Abu Dhabi’s most exciting and innovative attractions, scooping a variety of accolades from the biggest local, regional, and international awarding bodies.  Amongst them was TripAdvisor, which named Yas Waterworld one of the World’s Top Ten Waterparks in 2016.

 “We’re extremely proud of our accomplishments during 2016, which support our commitment to provide an exhilarating and safe environment for our many local and international guests” explained Bianca Sammut, Yas Waterworld General Manager.  “We’re looking forward to another great year ahead, and I can tell you that we’ve got many more exciting activities and surprises planned for all guests.”

During 2016, Yas Waterworld hosted Abu Dhabi’s biggest water battle in celebration of the UAE’s National Day, as well as one of the Emirate’s most popular Ladies Nights. 

The UAE’s first mega waterpark is home to over 40 exhilarating rides, slides and attractions – five of which can be found nowhere else in the world. Yas Waterworld is expecting to have another year of great success in 2017 by maintaining its safety standards and remaining a number one entertainment destination for its guests.
