In 2010, ALJCI launched the Bab Rizq Jameel (BRJ) Photography Award. As the results were so impressive, it was developed into the Art Jameel Photography Award (JPA), aiming not only to attract the best photographers but also to provide opportunities for employment, which is what our BRJ initiative is all about. We want young photographers to have a chance to turn their hobby into a job, may that be as artists or to use their photographic skills in the world of advertisement or film … Participating in the JPA could be the beginning of a rewarding career, offering a platform to excel and be seen by those who matter. Since its inception in 2010, the award has focused on photographic talent in Saudi Arabia and today not only Saudi nationals but residents of all nationalities can apply to participate.
