Americana Group introduced international casual dining restaurants to the Middle East in 1996 with the first TGI Friday's opening in the UAE. The good old casual cuisine trend spread quickly through the region, with 35 restaurants opening in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Lebanon and most recently Oman. Arab consumers still can’t get enough of the restaurant's smiling waiters, cheerful red and white stripes and relaxed atmosphere that puts a smile on everyone's face, not to mention the large servings of America’s best.
