General Authority for Competition

In accordance with the economic policy based on the principle of competition pursued by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the major developments in the economic field, and the desire to promote and confirm the climate of competition in the business sector, Royal Decree No. (M / 25) and the date of 4 Jumada I 1425H approved the system of competition.

The General Competition Authority is an independent body charged with overseeing the application of the competition regime, which is specifically aimed at promoting and encouraging fair competition and combating monopolistic practices that affect legitimate competition.
